  • Can I claim your services through OHIP or through my employee health insurance?

    Because you'll be working with a Registered Dietitian and be receiving nutrition therapy/counselling, you may be eligible to claim your expenses under your health insurance plan. Contact your insurance provider to ask if working with a Registered Dietitian is covered. Services are not eligible for coverage under OHIP.

  • Why should I choose a low carb or keto diet?

    The low carb or keto diet is not for everybody. Some find following a lower carb diet easier than other types of calorie restricted diets. Diet type should be based on an individual's likes and dislikes, health needs and their ability to sustain the diet. Contact us if you're wondering if it's right for you.

  • What's the difference between a low carb and Keto diet?

    Both diets restrict carbohydrates, which means that foods and beverages that contain (or break down into) moderate to high amounts of sugar (glucose) are avoided. Participants have the option to follow the less aggressive lower carbohydrate diet, or if desired, reduce their carbohydrate intake further and follow the traditional "keto diet". The option will be left up to each participant.

  • Why are you promoting a weight loss diet?

    Weight loss is not for everyone. People can be happy and healthy at any size. In some cases, weight loss can improve conditions like joint pain, reflux, sleep apnea and insulin resistance. The choice to follow a restrictive diet should not be taken lightly.

  • What if the program isn't for me, or I can't continue?

    We're confident that you'll love it and be able to follow the step-by-step program with ease. We understand that life can get in the way, so we provide a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.     Breanne Drury

    Breanne Drury, RD, B.Sc, MHScEd (cand.) is the owner and Registered Dietitian for Peterborough Nutrition Consulting in Ontario. Breanne has degrees in Microbiology and Human Nutritional Sciences. She was accepted into an intensive dietetic internship program and upon graduation and completion of her licensing exam, she became a Registered Dietitian (currently registered in Ontario). She went on to specialize in health education and has nearly completed her Masters in Health Science Education. With almost two decades of nutrition health and industry experience, Breanne is a known, trusted health professional and aims to create content that is engaging and personalized to fit her clients' needs.
